Rudy

Rudy, a Jack Russell Terrier, was the first "child" to his family. He was so loved, that after he passed, his ashes were placed in an urn. The box had a built-in space for a plaque, so we created a portrait to fit the urn's picture frame. Now Rudy is always home with the family.
Daisy

Daisy was the family dog of my client Hayley. This sweet lab-mix was aging quickly and the family wanted a way to remember Daisy after she passed. Both Hayley and Daisy came to my studio for a photo-shoot, and we created a stunning portrait in oil to capture Daisy forever.
"I just opened my birthday gift and I absolutely love it. It's a fantastic painting, and most importantly, you really captured who Daisy is and her expressiveness. I've taken hundreds of photographs of her, and I think about 5% of them really look like her to me. You and Hayley definitely chose the right photo, and somehow you translated it into oil."
”Hayley and I are taking the loss of our first child very hard, and there is little that can console us in any way. Your painting, though, is wonderful... When we are ready to have another pet, I hope you will paint her.”

Chloe & Pony

Chloe and Pony are best friends, and so are their humans. When Chloe's dad's birthday came along, Pony's mom wanted to do something special. So I created the best bud portraits, one original for each friend. Now their goofy kids will always be a pair.
Moose

Moose was the first foster dog to my friend from Angel City Pit Bulls. She had this lovable clumsy dog for 5 months, and of course, he became a part of the family. She had a hard time parting with him, though excited for his new home, so I created a character sketch of Moose, for her to remember him forever.
